Als Teil von Everything but the Girl schrieb Ben Watt eher melancholische Musikgeschichte. Doch schon vor dem offiziellen Ende des Erfolgs-Duos, bestehend aus ihm und seiner Lebenspartnerin Tracey Thorn, widmete er sich mit den Londoner Lazy Dog Club Nights dem Partygerangel.
