Seit Jahr und Tag sauge ich mit großem Vergnügen den “Solid Steel”-Podcast auf meine mobilen und immobilen Endgeräte. Ein- bis zweimal im Monat gibt’s dann eine satte Stunde DJ-Mixe aus dem Ninja-nahen Umfeld, mal fett, mal krude, meist lustig und immer mindestens reinhörenswert. Dahinter steckt Darren Knott a. k. a. DK, der nun auch den offiziellen Ninja Tune Podcast-verantwortet. Die neue downloadbare Show soll “regelmäßig” erscheinen (was auch immer das heißen mag). Jede Podcast-Ausgabe stellt einen Musikschaffenden in den Mittelpunkt (Interview plus eine vom Künstler handverlesene musikalische Auswahl), außerdem gibt’s fünf Tracks zukünftiger Label-Veröffentlichungen als Bonbons obendrauf.
